Fur in the spring?????

         I have to kiss you farewell my favorite fur vest...

We've been through so much and been on so many adventures together...

but now ..

i have to say goodbye....

 

                                    

      
                                     

And

Out with the old and in with the new!

I wanted to pimp my fur vest and wear it for spring...

it was a little to plain for my taste.

the colors for me

were not rich enough for fall and it's too cold to wear it in the winter...

 

 

so

I chose an embroidered piece of upholstery fabric..

this adds the richness of and texture of a shearling vest...

and it's very very inexpensive..

But it adds volume to whatever you make from it..

 

 

 

 

 

Measure it out

sew it...

 

 

And fall in love again...

After a long winters nap....I'm back and ready to post again....

Wow!!! It's been a long time since i've blogged.....Sadly summer is waining and that means more time indoors, especially during those rainy days....I love spending my rainy saturday afternoons filled with creativity,

making something

maybe

for that night...

In autumn, though it is a time of decline decay ..it is the perfect time to resurrect an old favorite..

I've had this jean jacket for 5 years!!! Even though the zipper broke and i had to take it out...

I

CANNOT

throw out this jacket..

so..

i cut some shapes from a pillow from Turkey and sewed it onto this jacket and i

simply love it!

sequins

whatever you want to make it your own...
